Artists Insi\u00adde e.V. awards fel\u00adlow\u00adships to ten pro\u00admi\u00adsing Ber\u00adlin-based artists.<\/p>\n\n

The Artists Insi\u00adde Fel\u00adlow\u00adship Pro\u00adgram\u00adme is adver\u00adti\u00adsed on the Artists Insi\u00adde e.V. web\u00adsite and social media profiles.<\/p>\n\n

Cur\u00adr\u00adent\u00adly, app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons must be sub\u00admit\u00adted exclu\u00adsi\u00adve\u00adly via the Artists Insi\u00adde e.V. web\u00adsite from 1 May 2024 to 15 May 2024 and must inclu\u00adde a CV, a state\u00adment with a detail\u00aded descrip\u00adti\u00adon of artis\u00adtic prac\u00adti\u00adce, images of four selec\u00adted works, and an optio\u00adnal web\u00adsite and\/\u200bor Insta\u00adgram link, if available.<\/p>\n\n

It is impe\u00adra\u00adti\u00adve that app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons are only sub\u00admit\u00adted with works and state\u00adments that are the sole crea\u00adti\u00adons of the artists and for which the artists hold the rights of use. Any attempt at fraud will result in immedia\u00adte and per\u00adma\u00adnent exclu\u00adsi\u00adon from this or any future Artists Insi\u00adde Fel\u00adlow\u00adship programme. <\/p>\n\n

Par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon in the Fel\u00adlow\u00adship Pro\u00adgram\u00adme is vol\u00adun\u00adta\u00adry. Howe\u00adver, you should only app\u00adly if you are sure that you have the time and space to par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adte in the men\u00adto\u00adring pro\u00adgram\u00adme and group exhibition.<\/p>\n\n

1. Artists Insi\u00adde Fellowship<\/em><\/h3>\n\n

Artists Insi\u00adde Fel\u00adlow\u00adship is an inde\u00adpen\u00addent pro\u00adgram\u00adme for the non-mate\u00adri\u00adal and finan\u00adcial sup\u00adport of con\u00adtem\u00adpora\u00adry art from Ber\u00adlin Artists Insi\u00adde Fel\u00adlow\u00adship is open to all Ber\u00adlin artists up to the age of 35. The pri\u00adze is awar\u00added regard\u00adless of eth\u00adnic ori\u00adgin, pla\u00adxe of ori\u00adgin, affi\u00adlia\u00adti\u00adon, gen\u00adder, disa\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adty, reli\u00adgi\u00adon or ideo\u00adlo\u00adgy, or sexu\u00adal iden\u00adti\u00adty. In accordance with its phi\u00adlo\u00adso\u00adphy, the Asso\u00adcia\u00adti\u00adon aims to sup\u00adport the selec\u00adted artists in an inclu\u00adsio\u00adna\u00adry way.<\/p>\n\n

The Artists Insi\u00adde Fel\u00adlow\u00adship sup\u00adports the fel\u00adlows wit\u00adhin the scope of its pos\u00adsi\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adties with a grant, a men\u00adto\u00adring pro\u00adgram\u00adme, a group exhi\u00adbi\u00adti\u00adon of the fel\u00adlows and an alum\u00adni programme.<\/p>\n\n

The bud\u00adget, the amount and dis\u00adbur\u00adse\u00adment of which is deter\u00admi\u00adned by the Exe\u00adcu\u00adti\u00adve Board and depends on the finan\u00adcial resour\u00adces of the organization.<\/p>\n\n

The men\u00adto\u00adring pro\u00adgram\u00adme takes place bet\u00adween June and Novem\u00adber and inclu\u00addes mee\u00adtings and trai\u00adnings with experts. Par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon in the men\u00adto\u00adring pro\u00adgram\u00admes is vol\u00adun\u00adta\u00adry. Howe\u00adver, an app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon for the pro\u00adgram\u00adme should only be made if it is cer\u00adtain that par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon in the men\u00adto\u00adring pro\u00adgram\u00adme is pos\u00adsi\u00adble in terms of time and location.<\/p>\n\n

The\u00adre will also be a group exhi\u00adbi\u00adti\u00adon of the fel\u00adlow\u00adship hol\u00adders, which will be orga\u00adnis\u00aded by Artists Insi\u00adde e.V. in col\u00adla\u00adbo\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon with the fel\u00adlow\u00adship hol\u00adders and cura\u00adted and desi\u00adgned by them. The pro\u00adceeds from the sale of the exhi\u00adbi\u00adted art\u00adworks will be dis\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adt\u00aded in full to the artists. Par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon in the group exhi\u00adbi\u00adti\u00adon is vol\u00adun\u00adta\u00adry. The alum\u00adni pro\u00adgram\u00adme is inten\u00added to crea\u00adte a sus\u00adtainab\u00adle net\u00adwork that pro\u00admo\u00adtes exchan\u00adge and con\u00adta\u00adct bet\u00adween for\u00admer and cur\u00adrent fel\u00adlow\u00adship hol\u00adders. The alum\u00adni pro\u00adgram\u00adme is also vol\u00adun\u00adta\u00adry, but par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon in the group exhi\u00adbi\u00adti\u00adon is pos\u00adsi\u00adble in terms of time and location.<\/p>\n\n

2. app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon regulations<\/em><\/h3>\n\n

App\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons for the fel\u00adlow\u00adship pro\u00adgram\u00adme can only be sub\u00admit\u00adted to www\u200b.artists\u200b-insi\u200bde\u200b.com wit\u00adhin the time spe\u00adci\u00adfied on the web\u00adsite (app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon peri\u00adod). All app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons sub\u00admit\u00adted out\u00adside the spe\u00adci\u00adfied app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon peri\u00adod will be rejec\u00adted. For orga\u00adni\u00adsa\u00adtio\u00adnal rea\u00adsons, app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons can\u00adnot be sent by post; sub\u00admis\u00adsi\u00adons can the\u00adre\u00adfo\u00adre neit\u00adher be con\u00adsi\u00adde\u00adred nor retur\u00adned. In order to give as many Ber\u00adlin artists as pos\u00adsi\u00adble access to the fel\u00adlow\u00adship pro\u00adgram\u00adme, the lan\u00adguage of the selec\u00adtion pro\u00adce\u00addu\u00adre and the fel\u00adlow\u00adship pro\u00adgram\u00adme is English.<\/p>\n\n

The board of Artists Insi\u00adde e.V. will check whe\u00adther the for\u00admal requi\u00adre\u00adments for the app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon (con\u00addi\u00adti\u00adons of par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon) have been met. . The decisi\u00adon of the board on com\u00adpli\u00adan\u00adce with the con\u00addi\u00adti\u00adons of par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon is final and will not be substantiated.<\/p>\n\n

The con\u00addi\u00adti\u00adons of par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon in detail:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Artists who are bet\u00adween 18 and 35 years old at the time of app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon and who live and work in Ber\u00adlin are eli\u00adgi\u00adble to apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Ent\u00adrants must com\u00adple\u00adte all sec\u00adtions of the form and sub\u00admit a CV, a state\u00adment (no more than 2,000 cha\u00adrac\u00adters inclu\u00adding spaces) with a detail\u00aded descrip\u00adti\u00adon of their artis\u00adtic prac\u00adti\u00adce, a short state\u00adment (no more than 180 cha\u00adrac\u00adters inclu\u00adding spaces) based on your state\u00adment, that we can use to pre\u00adsent the fel\u00adlow stu\u00addent on insta\u00adgram, and images (photographs\/\u200bvideos) of four of their works, strict\u00adly adhe\u00adring to the size para\u00adme\u00adters spe\u00adci\u00adfied in the form and in English. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The artwork(s) must be the par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adting artists\u2019 own and sole work(s) (sin\u00adgle aut\u00adhor\u00ads\u00adhip). The artists gua\u00adran\u00adtee that they are enti\u00adt\u00adled to all rights with regard to the sub\u00admit\u00adted artwork(s) and that they do not assu\u00adme any con\u00adtrac\u00adtu\u00adal or other obli\u00adga\u00adti\u00adons that would pre\u00advent their par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon in the fel\u00adlow\u00adship pro\u00adgram\u00adme or the group exhibition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adting artists may only sub\u00admit their app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon once during the app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon peri\u00adod. After the app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon dead\u00adline, app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons can no lon\u00adger be amen\u00added or sup\u00adple\u00admen\u00adted. The app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon can be with\u00addrawn at any time by noti\u00adfy\u00ading the Exe\u00adcu\u00adti\u00adve Board (inside@\u200bartists-\u200binside.\u200bcom).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. The par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adting artists agree to take part in the men\u00adto\u00adring pro\u00adgram\u00adme and the group exhi\u00adbi\u00adti\u00adon if the jury\u2019s decisi\u00adon is in their favour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. The par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adting artists agree to trans\u00adfer to Artists Insi\u00adde e.V. free of char\u00adge all rights to use the image of their artwork(s) for the pur\u00adpo\u00adse of publi\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon and communication.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. The par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adting artists may be asked at any time to pro\u00advi\u00adde pro\u00adof of the authen\u00adti\u00adci\u00adty of the infor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon pro\u00advi\u00added wit\u00adhin a rea\u00adson\u00adab\u00adle peri\u00adod of time. If the evi\u00addence is not pro\u00advi\u00added, Artists Insi\u00adde e.V. reser\u00adves the right to exclu\u00adde the par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adting artists from the app\u00adli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. In con\u00adnec\u00adtion with the selec\u00adtion pro\u00adcess, influ\u00aden\u00adcing the jury is just as imper\u00admis\u00adsi\u00adble as buy\u00ading fol\u00adlo\u00adwers, likes, comments and ret\u00adweets on the social media plat\u00adform Insta\u00adgram. This also app\u00adlies if the influ\u00adence is inten\u00added to favour the selec\u00adtion of third par\u00adties rather than your own.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. The Exe\u00adcu\u00adti\u00adve Board will exclu\u00adde par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpants from the selec\u00adtion pro\u00adcess even after admis\u00adsi\u00adon if it beco\u00admes known that the con\u00addi\u00adti\u00adons of par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon have not been met. In this case, the fel\u00adlow\u00adship can also be can\u00adcel\u00adled retroac\u00adtively. The\u00adre is no legal enti\u00adt\u00adle\u00adment to par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adte in the selec\u00adtion pro\u00adce\u00addu\u00adre and fel\u00adlow\u00adship programme.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    3. selec\u00adtion procedure<\/em><\/h3>\n\n

    3.1. The selec\u00adtion of the ten fel\u00adlow\u00adship hol\u00adders is deci\u00added by the expert jury (voting weight 90%) and the voting of the pre\u00advious years\u2019 fel\u00adlow\u00adship hol\u00adders (voting weight 10%). <\/p>\n\n

    3.2. The expert jury con\u00adsists of nine experts from the field of con\u00adtem\u00adpora\u00adry art and is appoin\u00adted by the board. The Exe\u00adcu\u00adti\u00adve Board may also appoint fel\u00adlow\u00adship hol\u00adders from pre\u00advious selec\u00adtion pro\u00adce\u00addu\u00adres (alum\u00adni) as jury members.<\/p>\n\n

    3.3. The jury mem\u00adbers will not judge the ent\u00adries accord\u00ading to the inst\u00adruc\u00adtions of third par\u00adties, but only accord\u00ading to their own jud\u00adge\u00adment based on the works sub\u00admit\u00adted and the state\u00adments. The selec\u00adtion of the ten fel\u00adlows shall be inclu\u00adsi\u00adve and regard\u00adless of eth\u00adnic ori\u00adgin, place of ori\u00adgin, affi\u00adlia\u00adti\u00adon, gen\u00adder, disa\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adty, reli\u00adgi\u00adon or ideo\u00adlo\u00adgy or sexu\u00adal identity. <\/p>\n\n

    3.4. The decisi\u00adons of the expert jury are final. The rea\u00adsons for the decisi\u00adons will not be disclosed.<\/p>\n\n

    3.5. Artists Insi\u00adde e.V. reser\u00adves the right to cla\u00adri\u00adfy the selec\u00adtion pro\u00adce\u00addu\u00adre at any time and to intro\u00addu\u00adce chan\u00adges, wher\u00adeby any updates to the selec\u00adtion pro\u00adce\u00addu\u00adre or the gui\u00adde\u00adli\u00adnes will be indi\u00adca\u00adted on the Artists Insi\u00adde e.V. website.<\/p>\n\n

    4.Group exhi\u00adbi\u00adti\u00adon<\/em><\/h3>\n\n

    The par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adting artists agree to assu\u00adme all respon\u00adsi\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adty and cost risk in con\u00adnec\u00adtion with the pro\u00adduc\u00adtion of the art\u00adworks for the group exhibition. <\/p>\n\n

    The\u00adre shall be no enti\u00adt\u00adle\u00adment to the orga\u00adni\u00adsa\u00adti\u00adon and sta\u00adging of the group exhi\u00adbi\u00adti\u00adon. Should the group exhi\u00adbi\u00adti\u00adon not be pos\u00adsi\u00adble for orga\u00adni\u00adsa\u00adtio\u00adnal or other rea\u00adsons, claims for reim\u00adbur\u00adse\u00adment or dama\u00adges against the asso\u00adcia\u00adti\u00adon are excluded. <\/p>\n\n

    The asso\u00adcia\u00adti\u00adon will try to orga\u00adni\u00adse the trans\u00adport of the art\u00adworks for the orga\u00adni\u00adsa\u00adti\u00adon of the group exhi\u00adbi\u00adti\u00adon as best as pos\u00adsi\u00adble, pro\u00advi\u00added the objects are loca\u00adted in Ber\u00adlin. The\u00adre is no enti\u00adt\u00adle\u00adment to com\u00adpen\u00adsa\u00adti\u00adon for trans\u00adport costs. <\/p>\n\n

    The asso\u00adcia\u00adti\u00adon will take out event insuran\u00adce for the peri\u00adod of the events (ver\u00adnis\u00adsa\u00adge, finis\u00adsa\u00adge) in con\u00adsul\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon with the artists. <\/p>\n\n

    5.1. The par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpant has gran\u00adted Artists Insi\u00adde e.V. the right to repro\u00addu\u00adce the artwork(s) pro\u00advi\u00added for the pur\u00adpo\u00adse of crea\u00adting a cata\u00adlo\u00adgue, archi\u00adving the images of the art\u00adworks pro\u00advi\u00added and publi\u00adshing them on the web\u00adsite, social media and for the pur\u00adpo\u00adse of other infor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon deter\u00admi\u00adned by the orga\u00adnisers as well as for the pur\u00adpo\u00adse of demons\u00adtra\u00adting the artwork(s) in the group exhibition.<\/p>\n\n

    5.2. Par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon in the fel\u00adlow\u00adship pro\u00adgram\u00adme requi\u00adres that, in addi\u00adti\u00adon to agre\u00adeing to the con\u00addi\u00adti\u00adons of par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon, con\u00adsent is also given to the pro\u00adces\u00adsing of pho\u00adtos and film record\u00adings. Con\u00adsent to the pro\u00adces\u00adsing of pho\u00adtos and film record\u00adings is requi\u00adred becau\u00adse the fel\u00adlow\u00adship pro\u00adgram\u00adme is of a public natu\u00adre and is at least par\u00adti\u00adal\u00adly car\u00adri\u00aded out in public. Fel\u00adlow\u00adship hol\u00adders will be pro\u00advi\u00added with a form for this pur\u00adpo\u00adse once they have been selec\u00adted.
